I had a full day meeting at my company's headquarters in Whitehouse Station so nothing interesting to write about. The highlight of the day was, tada…seeing snow for the first time in my life. Temperature today was in the range of 3 to -1o degree Celcius.
Tuesday, March 6
I experienced the coldest day in my life. Temperature today dipped to -11 degree Celcius.
As my field trip tomorrow will be with a representative based in Brooklyn, I was told that I would be transferred out to New York City this evening instead of staying on in New Jersey. This was like the best surprise I ever had – I'd get to see the Big Apple. My Thai colleague and I had planned to walk around our hotel and have dinner but the cold weather, coupled with the long drive from Whitehouse Station to New York City, put a damper to our plans. Whitehouse Station is actually not that far from New York City but we were caught in the notorious New York City traffic and only reached our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Times Square, after being on the road for two hours.
